Gifts from my husband part 5.
Hello! I think this is the last one for now. This is a jewelry box that my husband bought me in the latter part of his tour in Afghanistan. I think it is just beautiful. He put a love letter in the bottom telling me what a treasure I am and he had put two necklaces and two bracelets in it one set for me and one set for my daughter. The bracelets are quite lovely, but I think my husband lost his mind with the necklaces, but sssshhhh...don't tell him! I was so touched by the gifts that I just wear it anyway hahahaha! I hope you enjoy this one!

I needed a walking stick/cane
For years I have wanted a nice walking stick for those days that I go somewhere and end up walking all day long. Well I finally got it and it cost me nothing. At the RenFest this Saturday with my neice and her roommate I made a comment about wanting one for years while we looked around at this wood crafting shop there. Well I told my neice I'd have to make sure to save the $20 for it to buy it later. Then she said she'd buy it. But her roommate piped in wanting to buy it right then for me. I couldn't and didn't argue with him. I let him buy it for me after looking at maybe 50 styles of sticks. Now I've finally got my 6 foot walking stick. This is made from a cypress tree branch and hand carved etc. Leather starp with 3 beads made from some type of reptile bones I was told as well. All done there at the renFest show. I love it and it sure helped out walking all day Saturday. Do you own a walking stick? Is it made from Cypress Trees as well? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~
Outrage over crucifixes hung in classrooms
Boston College in the crosshairsAnother fark add lol. http://spedr.com/4hpfzNot a referral linkThis is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen, more after the jump hehehe. Some Boston College professors and students are raising a holy ruckus over the Catholic school’s return to its religious roots by hanging crucifixes in all its classrooms, calling the move “offensive” and a break from the Jesuit tradition of tolerance.“There is no choice if you don’t think it’s appropriate. You can’t turn it around,” said biology professor Dan Kirschner, faculty adviser for BC’s chapter of Hillel, a Jewish student group. “I think it is being insensitive to the people of other faith traditions here.”Amir Hoveyda, head of BC’s chemistry department, blasted the school in an e-mail to the Herald for “not being interested in an exchange with its faculty members.”In an interview with the college newspaper, The Observer, which broke the story, Hoveyda described the crucifixes as “offensive” and the university’s actions as “anti-intellectual.”“I can hardly imagine a more effective way to denigrate the faculty of an educational institution,”...
An Incredible Love Story From China
An incredible love story has come out of China recently and managed to touch the world. It is a story of a man and an older woman who ran off to live and love each other in peace for over half a century. The 72-year-old Chinese man who hand-carved over 6,000 stairs up a mountain for his 80-year-old wife has passed away in the cave which has been the couple's home for the last 50 years.Over more than 50 years ago, Liu Guojiang a 19 year-old boy, fell in love with a 29 year-old widowed mother named Xu Chaoqin..In a twist worthy of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, friends and relatives criticized the relationship because of the age difference and the fact that Xu, the widow already had children. At that time, it was unacceptable and immoral for a young man to love an older woman. To avoid the market gossips and the scorns of their communities, the couple decided to elope and lived in a cave in Jiangjin County in Southern ChongQing Municipality. In the beginning, life was harsh as they had nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountains.Xu felt that she had tied Liu down and repeatedly asked him, 'Are you...
You only need love to survive: Can you believe that this is possible today?
I've read one of the most touching story just few ticks ago about a couple who defied all, just to be with each other and he built a love ladder for her. True story and one that quite impossible to exist nowadays! It is a story of a 19 year old man and 29 year old woman who eloped to avoid gossips in their community. They went up to the mountains and lived in seclusion inside a cave.In the beginning, they had nothing and lived like cave people. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain. On their second year, the husband began to hand carve steps so that his wife could get down the mountain easily, (but his wife seldom goes down the mountain) and continue for over 50 years. A half century later in 2001, explorers found the elderly couple and the over 6,000 stairs of hand carved steps. They had seven kids and one said that their parents never been apart a single day for over 50 years. When the 72 years-old husband returned from his daily farm work and collapsed, the wife sat and prayed with her husband as he passed away in her arms. So in love with the wife that no one was able to release the grip he had on his wife’s hand even after he had passed...

organise
what do u think should i follow the same????Now let's outline a step-by-step process for organizing your home office from start to finish. The first step is analysis. How do you spend your time in your office? Make a list of the different types of tasks you perform there, and create a list of functional zones that your office will need. If you are a programmer, this should be an easy task if you think of it in terms of designing a computer program. If you had to program a robot to perform all the different tasks you did in your office, how would you organize those tasks into separate modules? For instance, I came up with a list of six categories for myself: general paperwork, computer work, creative work, financial work, business reading, and manual order processing and shipping. Ideally you want to create a list of clearly defined categories that overlap as little as possible. Next, determine what physical equipment and materials you need for each category. For instance, for creative work I need access to writing instruments, design notebooks, a marker board, and a corkboard. For shipping orders I need access to packaging materials, recordable CDs, postage, a postal...
